About
The longer version.
The Work
Over six years in IT support and systems administration, across industries where the work actually matters — healthcare at VUMC and financial services at LBMC. Different stakes, different compliance requirements, different scale. That variety has made me genuinely versatile.
The scope of what I do is broad: identity and access management, M365 and Azure infrastructure, endpoint lifecycle, hardware deployment, PowerShell automation, and compliance coordination (including SOC 2 audit work). I also carry a front-end development background, which means I build solutions when I see gaps — not just fix what's in front of me.
The Interests
Gaming is a serious hobby. My wheelhouse: Souls-likes (the harder the better), Metroidvanias, JRPGs, and Rocket League — which gets its own category because it's basically a permanent fixture in the rotation.
I have a Psychology degree, and that interest never went away. Mental health, human behavior, what makes people tick — it shapes how I approach people problems as much as technical ones. It's a genuine passion, not just a line on a résumé.
Indie music across the board — rock, pop, and rap. I like music that feels like it has something specific to say.
Fantasy Football is where my competitive side fully surfaces. I have opinions, a system, and zero apologies.
The Background
Psychology and Business degree from the University of Tennessee. After graduating, I spent several years working in healthcare — which is also where I got my first real exposure to enterprise IT environments. That experience pushed me toward a deliberate pivot: I enrolled in Nashville Software School in 2017, completed a full-stack web development bootcamp, and and haven't looked back.
Based in Nashville. Have also spent time living in Denver in the past.
